Job Description
Joining the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency as a Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC) under Direct Hire Authority, you will lead program management and cybersecurity policy initiatives, translating stakeholder needs into secure technical solutions. The appointment may include a one-year probation and is offered as career or career-conditional, with duties performed onsite in Pensacola, FL.

- Salary: USD 126,384 - 164,301 per year

Responsibilities
- Oversee hardware, software, and information system acquisitions in alignment with program management policies.
- Engage with customers to capture functional requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
- Lead risk analyses, feasibility studies, and trade-off analyses to shape and refine requirements and specifications.
- Direct the development and documentation of User Experience requirements, including information architecture and user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity plans, strategies, and policies to support organizational initiatives and regulatory compliance.
- Define and guide organizational cyber policy, programs, and implementation guidelines.
- Create policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability, accessibility, and defense against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
- Exercise full supervisory and personnel management authority in directing the work of subordinate staff.
Requirements
- You must be a U.S. citizen.
- Selective Service: Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered or exempt from registration.

- This position has been identified as a drug testing designated position (TDP); a pre-employment drug test is required, and a negative result is required for final offer, with potential for periodic random testing thereafter.
- You must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the listed competencies, including attention to detail and customer service at defined proficiency levels.
- Minimum Qualifications: You qualify at the GS-15 level with at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 level (or equivalent) performing duties such as developing plans to ensure acquisitions, procurements, and outsourcing address information security requirements, and leading related development efforts.
