Sr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst
Job Description
The Sr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst role at Northrop Grumman is an on-site posting in Falls Church, VA, focused on directing the Industrial Security Program in alignment with NISPOM and customer requirements. A Top Secret clearance is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Establishes and maintains a robust security program aligned to 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and related requirements.
- Designs and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
- Analyzes and implements applicable U.S. security regulations across company operations.
- Secures rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for regulatory compliance from government agencies.
- Drafts manuals detailing regulations and sets procedures for handling, storage, and access to records and materials by personnel and visitors.
- Provides security guidance and training to junior staff, site leadership, and program teams.
- Develops and sustains a comprehensive security education, training, and awareness program.
- Plans and conducts security inspections, including self-inspections, CSA inspections, and internal reviews.
- Analyzes, investigates, and resolves classified security issues, guiding employees to ensure program compliance.
- Investigates security incidents and compiles reports for CSA personnel.
- Leads security tasks related to construction or modification and approval of classified areas.
- Develops and maintains security documentation such as OPSEC plans, CONOPS, SOPs, and desktop instructions.
- Manages contract security classification actions, including reviewing and interpreting DD-254 and issuing DD-254 for subcontractors.
- Supports corporate office security requirements, including emergency response, crisis management, and executive engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience in industrial security or related disciplines.
- Master’s Degree with 6 years of experience in industrial security or related disciplines.
- Associate’s Degree with 10 years of experience in industrial security or related disciplines.
- High School Diploma with 12 years of experience in industrial security or related disciplines.
- Current U.S. Government Top Secret level security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP and SCI access.
- Thorough understanding and working knowledge of NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 and ICD security standards, as well as OPSEC, personnel, industrial, cyber, physical, and information security principles.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Salary Range
The primary level salary range is $117,500.00 - $176,300.00 per year.
