Sr. Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst

The Sr. Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst position supports information systems lifecycle activities for Northrop Grumman’s CIDO Classified Solutions team. This is an on-site, full-time role in Aurora, CO, focused on cybersecurity program management and the A&A/ST&E documentation and reporting required for classified systems.

Compensation

• Primary level salary range: USD 142,200 - 213,400 per year

Responsibilities

• Manage the cybersecurity program for all assigned information systems and perform all cybersecurity-related tasks.
• Conduct and lead regular reviews of system audits and continuous monitoring activities, covering security controls and configurations to improve the information system security posture.
• Assess systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave to identify deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
• Perform analyses to validate security requirements and recommend additional requirements and safeguards.
• Implement required government policy, provide recommendations on process tailoring, and participate in and document process activities.
• Establish and oversee program control processes that mitigate risk and support system Assessment and Authorization (A&A).
• Lead the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) process required by each government accrediting authority, including pre-test preparations, test participation, result analysis, and report preparation.
• Document A&A and inspection results, including technical or corrective actions, and coordinate with the security team to submit responses to the appropriate cognizant authority.
• Prepare, review, and submit A&A documentation for review and approval, including artifacts such as the System Security Plan, Risk Acceptance Report, Security Controls Traceability Matrix, and Plan of Action and Milestones.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant technical experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 8 years, OR Associate’s degree with 10 years, OR High School Diploma/GED with 12 years.
• Must meet the U.S. Government 8140 requirements for a Sr Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst – IAM level II certification (or higher), examples include: CAP or CGRC, CASP+ or CompTIA Security X, GSLC, CISSP-Associate, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO.
• Must have a current Top Secret/SCI security clearance, including a recent/current CI-Polygraph, to be considered.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment.
