Job Description

This FBI Special Agent role in Norfolk, Virginia combines investigative duties with advanced cybersecurity and technology expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct investigations into potential federal law violations, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
  • Apply judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet evolving investigative demands.
  • Develop and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
  • Maintain the physical fitness level required to perform law enforcement duties.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Eligibility to work for the FBI in accordance with agency requirements.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.
