Special Agent: Cybersecurity/Technology Expertise

The Federal Bureau of Investigation seeks a Special Agent with cybersecurity and technology expertise to investigate cyber threats and support national security, complemented by formal training and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct investigations into potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety matters.
• Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability to meet investigative demands.
• Establish and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies.
• Maintain the physical fitness required to perform law enforcement duties and remain ready for field duties.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
• Must be willing to travel as required.
• Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.

• Salary: USD 103,326 - 133,200 per year
• Pay level: $103,326.00–$133,200.00, salary is commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay
