Job Description

The FBI is seeking a Special Agent with cybersecurity and technology expertise to pursue federal cyber threats and related crimes from its Indianapolis field office. This on-site role combines rigorous investigative work with specialized training and opportunities for professional growth within a national law enforcement framework.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety.
  • Apply judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet investigative demands.
  • Build and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
  • Maintain a level of physical fitness appropriate for performing law enforcement duties.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizen.
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • FBI Employment Eligibility requirements must be met.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.

Location

Indianapolis, IN (onsite).

Salary

USD 103,326 – 133,200 per year. Salary is commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay.
