Special Agent: Cybersecurity/IT Expertise
Job Description
The FBI seeks a Special Agent with information security and cybersecurity expertise to investigate, safeguard national security, and pursue a specialized cyber career within federal law enforcement.
Responsibilities
- Lead investigations into potential violations of federal law, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
- Apply sound judgment, ingenuity, and adaptability to meet investigative demands.
- Develop and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
- Maintain physical fitness to ensure readiness for law enforcement duties.
Requirements
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Eligible to obtain Top Secret SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) clearance.
- Willing to travel as required.
- Meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
- Hold a master’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university.
