Special Agent: Cybersecurity/IT Expertise
Job Description
The FBI offers a specialized path for professionals merging cybersecurity with investigations. In this role, you will apply information security and threat-detection expertise to cyber investigations and national security efforts, collaborating with law enforcement partners while pursuing ongoing professional growth within a supportive environment. The position is based in Miami, Florida, on-site, with travel as required by the role.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety.
- Apply judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability to meet investigative demands.
- Develop and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
- Maintain the fitness level necessary to perform law enforcement duties as required.
Requirements
- U.S. citizen
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance
- Willingness to travel as required
- Meets the FBI Employment Eligibility requirements
- Master’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university

Salary
Pay level for this position: $103,236.00 - $133,200.00. Salary is commensurate with base pay, locality, and availability pay.
