Senior Security Engineer role focused on improving platform trustworthiness and user safety at scale.

Directly improve customer trust in the platform.
Own and drive the technical roadmap in collaboration with your team, product management, and other engineering teams to align work with company-wide security objectives.
Mentor a team of 3+ software and security engineers, emphasizing engineering quality, resiliency, and delivery.
Build user-friendly UI components that help users strengthen security of their accounts.
Create metrics and measurements to understand how users interact with security features and controls.
Work across the stack, implementing both front-end and back-end code.
Develop risk scoring algorithms to classify potentially risky behavior or activity on the platform.
Collaborate widely across engineering teams, often beyond security.
Contribute to security operations, including threat detection and response.
Participate in Datadog incident response.

5+ years of software security engineering experience, especially on teams building platform and user security features.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to solve complex technical problems with diverse stakeholders.
Experience working with product and design teams to deliver front-end features.
Fluency in one or more modern coding languages: Python, Go, TypeScript (or other modern languages).
Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Knowledge of abuse techniques in modern SaaS applications.
