Senior Information Security Analyst - IAM

Join Wells Fargo in a hybrid role in Chandler, AZ focused on strengthening Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations. In this senior position, you will help improve operational effectiveness across access management, identity lifecycle activities, entitlement governance, and control support while working with teams across business, technology, risk, and product to deliver measurable IAM enhancements.

What you will do

• Support IAM Operations initiatives by analyzing processes, data, controls, and workflows to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with execution of IAM operational processes, including access management, identity lifecycle activities, access reviews, and issue remediation.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, procedures, reporting, and operational artifacts to support consistency and transparency.
• Partner cross-functionally to gather requirements, track progress, and support delivery of IAM enhancements.
• Analyze metrics and operational data to identify trends, monitor performance, and provide insights for decision-making.
• Support control-related work, including evidence gathering, walkthrough support, issue tracking, and remediation follow-up.
• Coordinate IAM-related projects, pilots, and process improvement efforts while documenting milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Identify automation and workflow improvement opportunities by surfacing manual processes, pain points, and efficiency gains.
• Escalate operational issues, risks, delays, and blockers to leadership with clear facts, impact, and recommended next steps.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and working sessions to represent IAM Operations and support stakeholder alignment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across operational effectiveness, control maturity, customer experience, and risk reduction.

What you bring

• 4+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• 3+ years of identity and access management experience in one or more of: provisioning, de-provisioning, certification, authorization, or authentication.
• Experience working in technology operations, information security, business controls, risk management, or financial services operations.
• Familiarity with IAM concepts such as user access, provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, role-based access control, privileged access, or identity lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting audits, control walkthroughs, issue remediation, or evidence collection.
• Ability to identify operational pain points and recommend practical, scalable improvements.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

Additional desired qualifications

• Experience with tools or platforms such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI, Saviynt, CyberArk, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (ISO, NIST, SOX, PCI).

Location: Chandler, AZ (hybrid)

Pay range: USD 100,000 - 163,000 per year
