Senior Cybersecurity Strategy and Risk Manager

The Senior Cybersecurity Strategy and Risk Manager will shape enterprise security strategy, oversee risk Management, and ensure regulatory compliance for a major utility-sector client based in Oakland, California with a hybrid onsite work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal liaison between regulatory agencies and internal cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance and strategic alignment
• Lead and drive enterprise‑wide cybersecurity programs and craft comprehensive long‑term security roadmaps
• Oversee risk assessments across multiple business units and operating environments
• Assess AI and ML models for security vulnerabilities, bias risks, and compliance gaps
• Perform risk assessments of Industrial Control Systems and operational technology environments
• Align the enterprise security strategy with evolving regulatory requirements
• Protect both digital infrastructure and industrial control systems across the organization

Requirements

• Proven experience developing and implementing enterprise‑level cybersecurity strategies
• A proven track record in managing large‑scale, complex security programs
• Extensive expertise in risk assessment methodologies across digital and OT environments
• Strong ability to engage with regulatory bodies and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders
• A solid understanding of emerging technologies and their associated security risks and implications
