Security Analyst, Information Systems

National Jewish Health is looking for a Security Analyst, Information Systems to monitor and support corporate security across both physical and system-level environments. In this onsite role in Denver, CO, you will help oversee security technologies and services, assist with security audits, and support compliance with healthcare security standards and regulations.

What you’ll do

• Develop and implement procedures, standards, and guidelines for NJH information system physical and digital security.
• Partner with the IST technology management team to assist with creation and implementation of NJH information security physical and digital security.
• Stay current on security issues and potential breaches, then provide direction and recommendations to IS management with solutions to help safeguard vital information and intellectual property.
• Perform proactive security audits to identify potential weaknesses in system infrastructure and develop risk mitigation plans.
• Work with NJH departments, compliance, and IST to implement security measures that maintain alignment with healthcare security standards and regulations.
• Maintain and monitor security systems used in protection services, data loss prevention, perimeter defenses, physical and logical access control, and profile management (including Firewalls, DLP, Anti-Virus, Identity Management, Systems Logs, and related controls).
• Establish and oversee a security awareness and training program to meet annual requirements and new employee orientation needs.
• Evaluate changes to the corporate environment for security impact and present findings to management and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, computer science, or a related field (required).
• Minimum 3 years of recent and related experience (required).
• CISSP is preferred.

Schedule, location, and salary

• Location: National Jewish Health, Information Services & Technology, Denver, CO (onsite)
• Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift (includes some weekends), 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Travel: None
• Salary range: $67,454 - $89,208 per year (USD)
