Security Analyst Engineer

Summit Federal Services, LLC invites qualified candidates to join as a Security Analyst Engineer in a contract role onsite at Fort Gordon, Georgia. In this position you will deliver Computer Network Defense (CND) support to the BLCSE within the Cyber Enterprise Systems Center (CESC), ensuring Information Assurance policies and defense requirements are met on site. The role requires TS/SCI eligibility and prior DoD or IC security experience, offering a meaningful opportunity to contribute to critical national security missions within a disciplined government environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Computer Network Defense (CND) support to the BLCSE within the Cyber Enterprise Systems Center (CESC) to ensure products, systems, and services comply with Information Assurance policies and procedures, network defense requirements, and best practices as prescribed by ODNI, DIA, DoD, DISA, Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), and CSSP TIER-

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in Cyber Security disciplines within the DoD and/or other United States Government agencies.
• Day-one baseline certification required, including GCIA (preferred) or CEH or GCIH or SCYBER or CFR or CSA+ or GICSP.
• Within six months of assignment, must have CISA or GSNA or cyber/information/network security advanced degrees approved by the IAM/COR.
• Obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Evaluator Scoring Metric (ESM)

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 4+ years of concentrated IA/CS discipline experience; additional training, certifications, or years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• Demonstrated experience with DoD Directive 8500.01E, CJCS Instruction 6510.01, and DoD Instruction O-8530.2.
• Knowledge of DoD, IC, and national level system security initiatives, along with Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies.
• On day one, baseline certification requirements must include GCIA (preferred) or CEH or GCIH or SCYBER or CFR or CSA+ or GICSP.
