Security Analyst - Dedicated GSOC
Job Description
Join the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) team to support 24/7 monitoring, analysis, dispatch, and incident reporting on-site.
Responsibilities
- Provide centralized monitoring for critical events including natural disasters, civil unrest, and cyber threats, with rapid outreach to impacted personnel and stakeholders.
- Perform predictive and real-time analysis to assess and manage security, safety, and product-related risks; issue real-time threat alerts to support decision-making and incident reduction.
- Monitor and track mission-critical operations and employee locations in real time to support team safety and rapid adjustments to evolving threats or logistical changes.
- Assess travel-related risk inputs including flight patterns, hotel locations, high-risk destinations, and transportation options to improve traveler safety and risk-reduction strategies.
- Dispatch security officers, facilities, and on-site EMS personnel as needed using telephone and/or radio during security or medical incidents.
- Answer routine and emergency calls, serving as a calm, collected security contact for people in distress.
- Maintain accurate records for security systems maintenance, tracking repairs, problematic devices, and escalating damaged equipment to the Systems Team to ensure end-to-end repair completion.
- Use mass communication systems to send urgent messages to the Crisis Management Team and operational leaders in line with established protocols.
- Collect, compile, and report information on thefts, alarms, accidents, and other incidents occurring during duty.
- Monitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), escalate threat detections, and maintain detailed alarm tracking records.
- Operate multi-line telephone and radio equipment.
- Escalate critical event information and complaints without delay to the shift supervisor, Site Ops Manager, and GSOC manager.
- Support coordinated crisis response by building relationships with third-party security providers, law enforcement, and emergency services.
- Provide limited access badge support, including operation of digital camera equipment, badge printing, coordination of badge activation, and distribution of new and/or replacement badges.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field is highly recommended and/or more than 3 years of experience in emergency management, crisis management, emergency operations centers, or a related field.
- Familiarity with video surveillance, access control, threat intelligence, mass notification, and incident case management systems.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or equivalent are desirable.
- Exceptional vigilance and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make decisive, well-informed decisions.
- Proven capability handling high-stress situations and de-escalating conflicts.
- Emotional intelligence and awareness to manage high stress with candor.

Position Details
- Location: San Mateo, CA (onsite)
- Schedule: Full-time; GSOC operates 24/7 with shift schedule
- Salary: USD 100,000 - 105,000 per year
- Position type: Salaried, exempt professional
- Start date: January 1st, 2027
- In-person requirement: 100% on site at the client location
