Job Description

SAIC seeks a SAP Security Analyst to provide security support for DoD SAP programs (OUSW(R&E) SAPCO) on-site at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. This role centers on program protection and security management across SAP environments, requiring close coordination with program offices, security teams, and contractors. The position carries a salary in the range of $140,000 to $160,000 per year, reflecting the level of responsibility and the specialized expertise involved.

Responsibilities

  • Personnel Security: Oversee SAP personnel security workflows, assess eligibility for SAP access, prepare nomination packages, waivers, or letters of compelling need, maintain SAP databases, and track access suitability information.
  • Industrial Security: Evaluate contractor security compliance on SAP contracts, review facility accreditation requests, and define security requirements for sensitive tests and activities.
  • Physical Security: Compile and review SAP facility accreditation packages, manage facility folders, develop SOPs, MOAs/CUAs, and close-out packages, and craft risk mitigation strategies for potential threats.
  • Information Security: Direct classification management, oversee Top Secret accountability and media control, draft Security Classification Guides (SCGs) and security policies, manage technology transfers, foreign disclosures, security training, and investigate security incidents.

Requirements

  • Education and experience: A Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 10+ years of related experience; or a Master's degree with 8+ years; or a PhD/JD with 5+ years. Specialized military experience may substitute for a degree.
  • SAP security experience: At least 5 years of relevant SAP security work, including 3 cumulative years managing multi-discipline security programs for DOW SAPs.
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI access. US Citizenship required.
  • Security expertise: Extensive experience managing security protocols and protective measures specific to DOW SAPs.
  • Communication and teamwork: Proven ability to communicate with senior executives and to prepare and present briefings and reports; ability to work effectively in a small team environment.

Compensation

Salary range: USD 120,001 - 160,000 per year. The role is typically positioned to deliver around $140,000 - $160,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Location

Arlington, Virginia (onsite at the Pentagon).
