SAP PERSEC Security Analyst

The SAP PERSEC Security Analyst supports Raytheon’s Special Programs (SAP) Personnel Security (PERSEC) function in a classified environment. The role focuses on personnel security operations, compliance support, and customer-facing administration for personnel security processes.

Location and Clearance

• Location: Tucson, AZ (onsite)
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Top Secret DoD clearance is required
• Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required
• Salary: USD 57,200 to 108,800 per year
• Minimum Education: University Degree or equivalent experience

Role Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees regarding personnel security questions and actions.
• Administer and apply security procedures for classified operations, including NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, ICD 705, and JSIG.
• Support personnel processing, media control, marking and control of documents/materials, security education, visitor control, and destruction of classified information.
• Support specialized procedures for transmission of classified and/or proprietary material and information.
• Conduct and/or participate in internal reviews and Government inspections.
• Investigate security infractions or violations and prepare reports describing potential loss or compromise and associated program risk.
• Maintain personnel records and complete data entry tasks.
• Process Program Access Requests (PAR).
• Report required information to the customer, including adverse information, personnel status changes, foreign contacts, and foreign travel.
• Maintain the local SAP access database, including printing and distributing program badges and local courier operations.
• Update and upload required documents to the customer security database to support customer compliance.
• Update computer databases with vital security information, collect and apply federal security regulations affecting company operations, coordinate with government agencies for rulings and interpretations, and participate in security reviews to document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Protect employees’ personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act and other applicable Government regulations.
• May require extended hours due to a fast-paced, deadline-driven office environment.

Required Qualifications

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date (Top Secret).
• Active and existing security clearance required on day 1.
• Typically requires: University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, and ICD 705.
• Customer service experience.
• Data entry or database management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft products.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study.
• Experience in Personnel Security.
• Experience using eSecurity, JADE, Access Commander, SIMS, and DISS.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• At least 4 years of National Security experience preferred, including administrative and office management background skills.
• Related training with DCSA, CDSE, including Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
