Job Description
Senior SAP Application Security Lead for CGI Federal, delivering SAP security design and governance for an SAP S/4HANA Greenfield government implementation; requires U.S. citizenship.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of SAP Security Analysts across the project lifecycle.
- Apply project tools and applications to deliver SAP security solutions aligned with SAP best practices and industry standards.
- Contribute to the selection, design, and deployment of security solutions as a project team member.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve a hardened SAP environment.
- Oversee security for system builds, upgrades, patching, client copies, and refresh activities.
- Facilitate SAP security workshops with clients and project staff.
- Proactively coordinate with the project team and client on requirements gathering and status reporting.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training and leadership for client and internal teams.
- Identify, communicate security issues, risks, and opportunities to enable timely remediation.
- Provide SAP security solutions, analytics, and reports, and create TDS/FDS/WRICEF designs and SOPs.
Your Future Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of SAP Security Analysts through the project lifecycle.
- Utilize all available tools and applications within the project to provide SAP security solutions aligned with SAP best practices and industry standards.
- Participate in security solution selection, design, and implementation as part of the project team.
- Develop, maintain, and improve a secure SAP environment.
- Lead all security aspects of system builds, upgrades, patching, client copies, and system refreshes.
- Conduct SAP security workshops with clients and project personnel.
- Proactively engage the project team and client for activities such as requirement gathering and status reporting.
- Develop and provide extensive training and leadership to the client and internal teams.
- Identify and communicate security issues, risks, and opportunities to facilitate timely resolution.
- Deliver SAP security solutions, analytics, reports, and design TDS/FDS/WRICEF documents and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
- Due to contract requirements, U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a CGI background check are required prior to starting work. In addition, candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience administering SAP security for SAP applications.
- Minimum of 5 years leading a major IT program involving multiple teams and/or projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Experience in SAP landscape security strategy and architecture.
- Experience supporting project implementations with SAP GRC, SAP BTP, and other SAP security tools.
- Experience in SAP application security implementation methodologies, role-based user authorization, and access controls.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliverables, and project milestones effectively.
- Hands-on experience in SAP security configuration, user administration, user authorization troubleshooting, and role-based security development and maintenance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on a highly dynamic team in a fast-paced environment with continuous challenges.
- Ability to serve as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and project development teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and related tools.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.

- Deep understanding of user authorization Segregation of Duties (SoD) concepts.

- Current SAP Security Certification is desirable.
