Regional Senior Cybersecurity Coordinator

This position, Job ID REF99279A (Information Technology, Full Time), supports continuous improvement of global cybersecurity standards across the region. You will coordinate governance, compliance support, incident and vulnerability support, risk management follow up, and regional metrics and cost tracking.

What you will do

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of global cybersecurity standards, policies, and operational practices across the region.
• Serve as the IT Emergency Team Lead within the region and part of the global Tires IT Emergency Management team, overseeing rollout, updates, reviews, tracking, and reporting for the local IT Emergency process, tools, handbooks, contact lists, and related documents (including Disaster Recovery and Backup & Recovery handbooks).
• Ensure testing of local processes and organize local tabletop exercises while participating in central tabletop exercises.
• Support rollout and enforcement of global cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures, including awareness that regional implementation aligns with legal, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• Assist with audit activities and self-assessments, addressing control gaps or audit findings (example given: TISAX) and ensuring internal and external findings are resolved via effective remediation plans and tracking.
• Translate global cybersecurity rules into actionable regional and local plans with operational feasibility and stakeholder buy-in.
• Provide subject matter guidance to local teams on cybersecurity practices and expectations, including raising demand for cybersecurity process improvement.
• Coordinate closely with Central Cybersecurity Coordinators, Central and regional MTE Coordinators, and business functions to support secured operations.
• Own vulnerability mitigation tracking and escalation in the region, and support the Vulnerability Management process in the respective locations.
• Support regional cybersecurity incident response activities by participating in incident response and coordinating with global incident response teams and local IT teams.
• Support regional cybersecurity coordination for local risk owners, including leading implementation and improvement of cybersecurity risk management processes and follow-up of measures.
• Support cybersecurity risk reporting at the locations as part of overall risk reporting, continuously analyze implemented risk processes, and identify local improvements and deviations.
• Coordinate and execute regional rollout of global cybersecurity initiatives and projects, aligned with global roadmaps, and track performance using global structured KPIs and reporting.
• Support delivery of security awareness programs, phishing campaigns, and training activities, including coordinating local execution, communications, follow-up actions, and identifying local training gaps.
• Address demand for regional and local cybersecurity metrics for structured reporting (KPIs, compliance, maturity, risk) and use data insights to recommend improvements.
• Support collection, consolidation, and reporting of cybersecurity implementation costs across the region, including labor, materials, and project-related expenses; work with local IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate cost estimates and budget availability.
• Provide regional cost visibility to management to support budgeting, forecasting, and return on investment.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology plus 2 years relevant experience OR 5+ years relevant experience if no degree.
• Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity technologies.
• Good knowledge of network technologies, including network and firewall architecture.
• Intercultural sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and able to write clearly for different target groups.
• Good (self-)organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel around 10%.
