Job Description

The Product Security Engineer - AI Trainer role supports the development of cybersecurity-focused AI capabilities by reviewing AI-generated security material and creating hands-on security training tasks. This contract position is fully remote with project-based scheduling and hourly pay through a platform assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity content for real-world accuracy and validity, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques.
  • Design and solve security-focused technical problems that are used to train AI systems.
  • Produce clear technical explanations and security-relevant code to support AI training materials.
  • Provide feedback that informs iteration and directly helps shape subsequent generations of AI security models.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related work, including government or military cyber operations.
  • Some coding experience is required, with comfort navigating and patching a codebase.
  • Fluency in English (native or bilingual level) and strong writing skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Cybersecurity certifications are a plus, including examples such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar credentials.
