Product Security Engineer - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation is hiring a Product Security Engineer - AI Trainer to support cybersecurity-focused AI model training. This contract role is designed to fit around your schedule, with the flexibility to work fully remote using your own computer. You will help improve the real-world usefulness of AI systems by evaluating AI-generated security content and solving security-driven technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, for real-world accuracy and validity.
• Design and solve security-focused technical problems used to train AI systems.
• Write clear technical explanations and security-relevant code.
• Provide feedback that directly influences subsequent iterations of AI models for cybersecurity use.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or adjacent fields. Government or military cyber operations experience is also applicable.
• Some coding experience is required, with comfort navigating and patching a codebase.
• English fluency at native or bilingual level, with strong writing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certifications are a plus, such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar credentials.
