Product Security Engineer
Job Description
Boeing is seeking an experienced Product Security Engineer to help design and support Anti-Tamper / Product Security capabilities for computing assets embedded in Boeing defense platforms. This 100% onsite role supports design, integration, and test engineering, with a focus on requirements, verification, and anti-tamper development support.
The position is located in Berkeley, MO (onsite) and aligns to a 1st shift schedule. Salary range for Level 2 is USD 102,000 - 138,000 per year, with an acceptance deadline of Oct. 23, 2026.
Role scope
- Support development programs, research efforts, and strategic initiatives related to Product Security / Anti-Tamper
- Develop requirements, documentation, test plans, and test procedures, and participate in verification activities to support anti-tamper development
- Collaborate with platform chief engineers, chief architects, and team leads to define platform architectures and implementations that enable fielding and sales of advanced tactical capabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non-US equivalent qualification directly related to the work statement
- 2 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience, or non-US equivalent qualifications
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in design, development, and integration of complex electronic systems or subsystems
- Experience in the anti-tamper or product security domain
- Experience in requirements analysis
- Experience or interest in cryptography, secure communications protocols, and reverse engineering techniques at the system and component level
- Experience or interest in commercial off the shelf (COTS) FPGAs and COTS security features
- Current US Top Secret Clearance preferred

- Position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility
- Export control requirements apply; role must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements and requires a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance is required; U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
