Job Description
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is hiring a Principal Industrial Security Analyst (Level 3) or Sr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst (Level 4) to oversee and execute the Industrial Security Program for classified programs in Sunnyvale, CA.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute the Industrial Security Program in compliance with NISPOM, customer requirements, and internal policies
- Manage DD254 requirements and related activities
- Support fast-paced, high-profile programs while building working relationships with internal and external customers
- Develop, administer, and maintain security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment
- Conduct and oversee self-inspections and internal assessments; prepare for DCSA reviews
- Ensure proper handling, safeguarding, transmission, and accountability of classified information and material
- Coordinate required security reporting for items such as adverse information, security incidents, violations, and suspicious contacts
- Provide security guidance and training to junior employees, site leadership, and program teams
- Interface with DCSA/ISRs, government customers, and internal leadership
- Support enterprise security initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Study and implement applicable federal security regulations affecting company operations
- Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance from government agencies
- Prepare manuals covering regulations, procedures for handling and storing classified records, and record-keeping processes
- Establish procedures for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials
- Deliver security education classes and related briefings
- Investigate security violations and prepare reports that specify preventive actions
Requirements
- Principal (Level 3): Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years Industrial Security or relevant experience; or MS and 3+ years; 4 additional years applicable work experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree
- Principal (Level 4): Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years Industrial Security or relevant experience; or MS and 5+ years; 4 additional years applicable work experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree
- Experience using government security databases: DISS, NISS
- Experience with safeguarding and accountability of classified information
- Working knowledge of 32 CFR part 117 and NISP
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or 365, including MS Word and MS Excel
- Current active SECRET Security Clearance, with ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret

- Insider Threat Program experience
- COMSEC experience
- CDSE – FSO Program Management for Processing Facilities certificate
- Self-starter with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work extended hours in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; strong speaking and writing skills; organized and able to communicate effectively
Compensation
- Primary level salary range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00
- Secondary level salary range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (onsite)
