Principal Industrial Security Analyst

This onsite Principal Industrial Security Analyst role supports the Sentinel GBSD program with security compliance, management of classified materials, access control, and investigations. The position is located onsite in Roy, with a salary range of USD 81,400 - 122,000 per year. A PhD is required, with a minimum of one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an ACPSO on special projects, ensuring alignment with the national industrial security program obligations.
• Manage handling of classified and proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
• Apply federal security regulations that govern company operations across programs.
• Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for regulatory compliance from government agencies.
• Prepare manuals outlining regulations for subcontractors to follow.
• Establish procedures for handling, storage, and recordkeeping of sensitive items.
• Develop procedures for granting access to restricted records and materials for personnel and visitors.
• Investigate security violations and produce reports with recommended preventive actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience, or Master's with 3 years of related experience, or 1 year with a PhD; an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance or enrollment in the DoD Continuous Vetting program at the time of application. Clearance must be current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program SAP approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company.
• Experience interpreting and applying security regulations, standards, and policies.
• Experience supporting security incident investigations and administering or reviewing access to sensitive information, systems, or facilities.
