Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst - Polygraph
Job Description
On-site Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst – Polygraph at Northrop Grumman in Dulles, VA, concentrates on the systems lifecycle, Authorization and Accreditation support, security testing, and government policy implementation. The role requires a current polygraph and Top Secret/SCI clearance and involves performing work in a government-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring of all security controls, configurations, and operational processes to evaluate the security posture of information systems.
- Assess systems and networks within the enclave to identify deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
- Analyze to validate established security requirements and recommend additional safeguards.
- Assist in implementing government policy, tailor process approaches, and participate in and document process activities.
- Establish strict program controls to mitigate risks and support the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems, including process support, analysis, coordination, security certification testing, documentation, investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research, inspections, and periodic audits.
- Support formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by government accrediting authorities through pre-test preparations, test participation, result analysis, and reporting.
- Document the results of A&A activities and coordination efforts, and prepare the Risk Management Framework body of evidence.
Requirements
- Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant technical experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant technical experience.
- Associate’s degree with 7 years of relevant technical experience.
- High School Diploma or GED with 9 years of relevant technical experience.
- Meet the U.S. Government 8140 requirements (8570 equivalent) for a Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst – IAM level II or higher certification, examples include CAP or CGRC, CASP+ or CompTIA Security X, GSLC, CCISP-Associate, CISM, CCISO, CISSP.
- Current U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI level security clearance (minimum), including a closed investigation date within the last 6 years or enrollment in the Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program to be eligible.
- Current or recent Polygraph adjudicated within the last 5 years to be considered.
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment.
