Junior Cybersecurity Analyst

Hollstadt Consulting is hiring a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst in Minnesota (onsite) to support identity administration and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer the client identity platform and assist with management of the centralized directory and identity data
• Support day-to-day operations of in-place security solutions
• Assist with the identification, investigation, and resolution of security-related incidents detected by security systems
• Monitor and manage policies, standards, procedures, and controls to support security, compliance, and audit requirements
• Manage user accounts and permissions in the identity and access management system
• Grant or deny access to company resources based on user role and privileges
• Create and manage user groups in the identity and access management system
• Enforce company policies and procedures related to identity and access management
• Monitor user activity in the identity and access management system
• Report on identity and access management system activity
• Identify and address identity and access management issues
• Coordinate with Information Security peers to resolve identity and access management problems
• Support compliance testing and monitoring of current and future regulatory obligations and other regulatory matters as required
• Monitor and manage vulnerability reporting to help ensure asset and application vulnerabilities are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner
• Participate in investigations into problematic activity

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Identity and Access Management concepts
• Knowledge of security concepts and how they apply to IAM
• Knowledge of vulnerability scanning and reporting processes
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle to commute between job sites

Compensation

• $30.56 to $40.95/hour W2, dependent on skills and qualifications

Desired Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft O365, ServiceNow, or Identity and Access management applications
• Experience with Sailpoint Identity Now platform
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and reporting tools
