Protect corporate systems and information by building, maintaining, and responding across the security lifecycle.

Analyze IT specifications to identify and assess security risks
Design and implement security controls, including security protocols, disaster recovery plans, and data protection strategies
Install, configure, and upgrade security software (including antivirus programs)
Harden and secure networks using firewalls, password protection, and related systems
Perform hardware security inspections and ensure system hardening
Monitor network activity for threats and respond to incidents
Act on privacy breaches and malware threats
Provide security expertise and training to internal employees
Support security policy development by providing subject matter input for security policies and guidelines
Perform other related duties as assigned

2-3 years of related experience
Knowledge of security frameworks (including NIST Cybersecurity framework)
Risk management experience
Familiarity with intrusion prevention systems (example: TippingPoint)
Familiarity with PKI and SSL/TLS concepts
Patch management practices
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Solid decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Cloud platform experience, including AWS and Azure
Experience with tools such as CrowdStrike and Splunk (required)
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required)
Programming skills are preferred (examples: C#, PHP, .Net)
Professional certification (examples: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM) is a plus or must be obtained within the first year of employment
