NAVAIR offers a full-time role in support of the secure operation, maintenance, and accreditation of organizational information systems. This onsite position at China Lake, CA supports critical cybersecurity and compliance activities across Windows and Linux environments, with collaboration using common enterprise tools such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Visio. The salary range for this position is USD 71,957 - 135,657 per year.
What you’ll do
- Support the secure operation, maintenance, and accreditation of organizational information systems.
- Configure and sustain Windows and Linux systems.
- Manage user accounts, access privileges, software installations, security patching, and system updates.
- Troubleshoot issues across desktop, network, virtual-machine, and hardware/software components.
- Support cybersecurity risk and physical-security assessments.
- Support security awareness training.
- Support incident reporting and compliance monitoring.
- Develop and maintain Assessment and Authorization (A&A) documentation.
- Assist with network routers, switches, databases, mobile technologies, and collaboration tools including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Visio.
