IT Specialist (DATAMGT/INFOSEC)
Job Description
Serve as a technical authority supporting Enterprise Portfolio Management, SharePoint automation, and IT investment analytics for DOJ-OCIO.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automated SharePoint workflows and information-routing to streamline collection, review, approval, and management of IT portfolio and capital planning information.
- Evaluate enterprise IT processes, procedures, investments, and project data to assess program performance, cost efficiency, technical progress, and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Create risk mitigation strategies, technical recommendations, business cases, and resource requirements to address project deficiencies and support enterprise IT modernization efforts.
- Provide technical oversight and analytical support for IT contracts by reviewing vendor deliverables and technical documentation, including software development activities, cloud modernization efforts, and procurement milestones against requirements.
- Build automated tracking methods for project performance, compliance requirements, security controls, milestones, and remediation activities across enterprise IT initiatives.
- Design and support Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports based on IT Investment Management data.
Requirements
- US citizenship: must be a United States Citizen or National.
- Must pass a security/background investigation and drug screening.
- Selective Service registration is required.
- Financial Disclosure: if selected, may be required to disclose financial information in accordance with DOJ and Federal ethics guidelines.
- May be required to complete a one-year probationary period.
- Obtain and maintain federal acquisition certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-PPM) at Level 1 and FAC-COR at Level 2.
- TDY travel: approximately 25% of the time.
- USA Hire assessment required; complete within 48 hours from the closing date of the announcement.
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and/or administer:
- Customized Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports
- SharePoint environments including site architectures, data structures, forms, web parts, metadata, and/or automated workflows
