Job Description
At AuraOne Human Data, the InfoSec Expert works remotely on a contract basis to assess AI-generated outputs within real-world infosec operations. The role focuses on verifying that model results align with current workflows, policy requirements, and stakeholder expectations, while identifying risk and documenting the next steps to guide model training.
Responsibilities
- Compare model-generated responses with established infosec operations workflows, playbooks, and firm policy to assess suitability for InfoSec Expert tasks.
- Evaluate tone, escalation logic, and stakeholder alignment using a structured rubric.
- Flag operational risk, missed escalations, and policy adherence gaps with severity tags.
- Document the precise next steps so the modeling team can use them to train the system.
- Resolve disputed treatments by applying published playbooks or official guidance.
- Maintain reviewer quality scores through inter-rater calibration cycles.
Requirements
- Hands-on involvement in infosec specialist operations on real teams for InfoSec Expert work.
- Ability to apply multi page rubrics consistently across large batches.
- Clear written justification that cites the exact policy or workflow being applied.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the capacity to flag prompts that may be faulty.
- Consistent asynchronous availability for at least 10 hours per week.

Example Tasks
- Grade a model's response to a real infosec specialist operations ticket, evaluating workflow, tone, and escalation.
- Identify a missed escalation with the correct severity tag and provide a corrected next step.
- Adjudicate a disputed playbook decision between reviewers using firm guidance.
- Audit a batch of items for rubric consistency and report any drift to the program lead.
Nice to Have
- Experience training, calibrating, or QAing operations teams.
- Familiarity with AI assisted workflow tooling and common failure modes.
- Bilingual experience for cross region operations.

Work Model
- Remote, US eligible. Independent specialist contractor. Employment type: CONTRACTOR. Applicants must be authorized to work from the United States.
Compensation
Hourly rate is confirmed after the interview process.
