Information Security Engineer Associate

Nemours Children’s Health offers a hybrid Information Security Engineer Associate role supporting a security-focused team across Jacksonville, FL, Orlando, FL, or Wilmington, DE. You’ll help protect the organization against cyber security threats by bringing security tools and applications into operation, responding to incidents, and supporting the engineers and analysts around you. The role also includes teaching opportunities, from training peers on security tooling to supporting incident response readiness through exercises and procedure-based instruction.

Responsibilities

• Support the Security Engineering and Operations team in day-to-day engineering and operations work
• Research, develop, and help implement security tools and applications
• Act as technical lead on security projects and guide implementation activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise
• Manage and respond to escalations from junior team members
• Serve as a technical liaison for Clinical and Business Information Security needs
• Train team members on how to implement and operate security tools
• Train others on incident response procedures
• Lead during security incidents and participate as lead in table-top exercises

Requirements

• Associate Degree required
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of related experience required
