Information Security Analyst I or II
Job Description
South Central Planning and Development Commission is seeking an Information Security Analyst I or II to strengthen its security and compliance program across its custom-built software suite. In this role, you will help maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and support ISO 27001 initiatives, coordinating risk assessments, audits, and incident response for the agency. Based in Houma, Louisiana, with a hybrid work arrangement, this position combines hands-on security responsibilities with policy development and documentation to protect agency data and client information.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the agency's security and compliance program for its custom-built software
- Help maintain the organization's Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Support ISO 27001 certification efforts
- Assist with the development and maintenance of security policies
- Assist with risk assessments
- Support internal audits and remediation tasks
- Assist with vulnerability management processes
- Assist with incident response planning and execution
- Contribute to employee security awareness initiatives
- Assist with responses to customer security questionnaires
- Review security alerts and findings and track corrective actions
- Maintain security compliance documentation and evidence
- Coordinate corrective actions with technology staff and management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of experience in a related field
- Higher levels of experience are needed to qualify for an Analyst II

Compensation
Salary: $48,000 - $90,000 per year
