DevSecOps Application Security Engineer

Infosys offers an onsite, Atlanta based opportunity to join a collaborative infrastructure practice that spans internal, client, onsite, offshore, and vendor teams. You will contribute to scalable IT infrastructure design, strengthen security practices, and help build a centralized knowledge repository to capture insights and drive efficiency across projects. This role emphasizes incident resolution, infrastructure assessment, deployment governance, performance optimization, and continuous improvement in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal and client teams to resolve high complexity incidents, perform root cause analyses, and document findings with preventive recommendations
• Assist in evaluating client IT infrastructure, prepare actionable assessment reports, and support due diligence to capture infrastructure maturity and improvement opportunities
• Contribute to designing scalable, cost efficient IT infrastructure solutions, review reusable components, and produce technical documentation for deployed systems
• Coordinate release calendars and environment readiness, execute deployments per established protocols, conduct post deployment testing, and manage version control to track changes
• Schedule maintenance, emergency fixes, and technology upgrades while ensuring uninterrupted integration into existing systems and processes
• Lead performance data analysis across systems, coordinate insights on system behavior, and support capacity planning to optimize performance
• Perform security checks, recovery drills, and compliance audits, implement security controls, and coordinate continuity plans to maintain adherence to standards
• Collect feedback to identify automation opportunities, analyze existing infrastructure processes, and propose enhancements for efficiency gains
• Serve as liaison with onsite, offshore, and vendor teams to document project requirements and foster effective collaboration
• Build and maintain a centralized repository of technical and procedural knowledge, leveraging insights from other projects to drive efficiency and retain organizational expertise
