Cybersecurity Technical Writer - AI Trainer
Job Description
As an AI Trainer and Cybersecurity Technical Writer, you will help improve AI systems used in security-focused settings by reviewing AI-generated content, solving technical security challenges, and producing clear written explanations that guide model behavior.
Role Summary
The work involves training and evaluating AI models for cybersecurity by assessing AI-generated security material, resolving technical security problems, and providing feedback that helps these systems reason about real-world threats and defenses. The role is offered as a remote contract with a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, with a focus on real-world accuracy and validity.
- Design and solve security-focused technical problems used to train AI systems.
- Write clear technical explanations and security-relevant code.
- Provide feedback that directly informs the next generation of AI security models.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or adjacent fields.
- Experience may include government or military cyber operations.
- Some coding experience is required, with comfort navigating and patching a codebase.
- English fluency (native or bilingual level) with strong writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Cybersecurity certifications are a plus, for example OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or similar.

Compensation
