Job Description
DataAnnotation is seeking a Cybersecurity Technical Writer - AI Trainer (contract) to support the training of AI models for cybersecurity use cases. You will review AI-generated security content, assess its accuracy, and provide feedback that helps AI systems reason more reliably about real-world threats and defenses.

Summary
In this role, you will evaluate cybersecurity outputs produced by AI and contribute security-focused technical problem design, writing, and review. Your feedback will directly influence how future AI security models generate and validate threat-related content.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, with an emphasis on real-world accuracy and validity.
- Design and solve security-focused technical problems used to train AI systems.
- Write clear technical explanations and security-relevant code.
- Provide feedback that shapes the next generation of AI security models.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or adjacent fields, including government or military cyber operations.
- Coding experience required: comfort navigating and patching a codebase is important.
- English fluency (native or bilingual) with strong writing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Cybersecurity certifications are a plus, for example OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar credentials.
