Cybersecurity Technical Writer - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation is seeking a contract Cybersecurity Technical Writer and AI Trainer to help shape secure AI systems by evaluating security-focused outputs and crafting training challenges that reflect real‑world scenarios. Working remotely, you will review AI-generated threat analyses, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security content for accuracy, document clear explanations and code samples, and provide feedback that informs future AI security models. This role offers hourly pay and PayPal-based payments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity material, including threat analyses, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, for real-world accuracy and validity.
• Design and refine technical problems that are used to train AI systems on security-focused tasks.
• Write clear, technically precise explanations and security-relevant code snippets.
• Provide actionable feedback that directly shapes the next generation of AI security models.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in roles such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related fields, including government or military cyber operations.
• Some coding experience and comfort navigating and patching a codebase.
• Fluency in English with strong writing skills (native or bilingual).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Cybersecurity certifications are a plus (e.g., OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar).
