Cybersecurity Systems Analyst

Agile Defense is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Systems Analyst to lead the Cyber Survivability Test and Evaluation program for a national security modernization effort. The role centers on planning and executing CVPAs, adversarial and vulnerability assessments, and delivering critical cyber evaluation deliverables. A current Top Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required for this onsite position at Fort Huachuca, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, execution, and reporting of cyber survivability T&E events, including CVPAs and Attack Assessments, acting as the primary authority for test design, data analysis, and risk evaluation of the system’s cybersecurity posture.
• Develop and manage strategic cyber assessment documentation such as the Cyber Survivability Request for Information, Cyber Master Evaluation Framework, and Cyber Risk Tracking Matrix, coordinating with Blue and Red Teams to craft Attack Vectors and Action Maps.
• Lead and support vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and adversarial exercises aligned with operational test events; analyze data from automated scans, code reviews, and interviews to identify vulnerabilities and document daily status updates.
• Author and present key cyber deliverables including Cyber Survivability Quick Look Reports, Data Authentication Group packages, and final Cyber Survivability Test Reports; brief milestones, findings, and risk mitigation strategies to leadership.
• Collaborate with Program Offices, developers, and operational users to embed cyber survivability requirements throughout the T&E lifecycle; contribute expert input to documents such as the Test and Evaluation Master Plan, Test Concept Brief, and Operational Test Readiness Reviews.

Requirements

• Current Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to pass a polygraph (non-negotiable).
• Compliance with DoD 8570.01M certification requirements (IAT, IAM, CND, IASAE) as specified by the task order.
• DAWIA Test and Evaluation Level II/III or Engineering & Technical Management Level II/III; advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CASP+ are preferred.
• Expertise in cybersecurity T&E concepts, practices, and procedures across the full system acquisition lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of DoD cybersecurity directives, Risk Management Framework, and defense-in-depth architectures.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools, penetration testing techniques, and analysis of Red/Blue team outputs.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills; capable of working effectively in a high-pressure team environment.
• Proven technical writing ability and proficiency in standardized requirements analysis.
• Solid understanding of T&E processes from requirements identification to data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Key Management Infrastructure, cryptographic devices, and Communications Security.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database tools.

Working Conditions

On-site operations within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility with the possibility of up to 40% travel. The environment is fast-paced and mission-focused, requiring adaptability during complex cyber testing events. The typical office setting is sedentary, with occasional standing or walking up to 10%. Physical demands include a maximum lift of 50 lbs, with frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. Occasional standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, and use of hands and fingers are required, with possible stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
