Job Description

Actus Consulting Group, Inc., is seeking a Cybersecurity Support Specialist who is bilingual in Japanese to support clients and security operations onsite in Plano, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and triage incoming client inquiries, tracking progress through resolution
  • Collaborate with internal security engineers to obtain technical answers and translate them into clear client-facing guidance
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers on cybersecurity topics
  • Assess customer requirements and pain points to align security solutions with business needs
  • Lead or participate in customer discussions, status updates, and incident briefings in English and Japanese
  • Advise customers on security best practices, tools, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders to enhance satisfaction and service quality
  • Monitor security systems (firewalls, intrusion detection, antivirus) to identify breaches or anomalies
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, investigate breaches, document findings, and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain and support security compliance aligned with global and local standards
  • Document security incidents, investigations, and solutions; generate reports for management and regulatory purposes
  • Support Japan affiliates with rolling out new security tools and supporting existing tools
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive changes with the team
  • Conduct regular communications and assist with root cause analysis and Kaizen implementation

Requirements

  • College degree
  • 3 to 5 years in a technical role; prior experience as a Technical Lead is a plus
  • Proven experience engaging directly with customers or stakeholders (incident communication, service delivery, technical advisory)
  • Ability to translate technical cybersecurity topics into clear, business-oriented language for non-technical audiences
  • Bilingual in Japanese and English
  • Experience working directly with clients and managing supplier relationships
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge in cybersecurity, networking, or IT support (CompTIA Security+, Network+, or equivalent coursework is a plus)
  • Experience working across US and Japan business environments
  • Experience with ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc.)

Pay

From $60,000 per year

Work Location

  • Plano, TX (onsite)
