Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents, alerts, and threats.
Administer and maintain security tooling including firewalls, EDR, SIEM, email security, MFA, and identity management systems.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts.
Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.
Perform security audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
Investigate suspicious activity and assist with incident response and forensic analysis.
Manage Microsoft 365 and Azure security configurations, including Defender and Conditional Access policies.
Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies in cybersecurity.
Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, and cloud networks.
Troubleshoot network performance, outages, and connectivity problems.
Configure and support switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, and SD-WAN.
Monitor network health, bandwidth usage, and system availability.
Implement secure network segmentation and access controls.
Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Collaborate with IT teams and vendors on infrastructure upgrades and implementations.

Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of three years in cybersecurity and/or network engineering roles.
Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN technologies, and general network protocols/architecture.
Experience with firewalls such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, or SonicWall.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, and cloud security practices.
Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
