Cybersecurity Project Manager
Job Description
Sancorp Consulting LLC is hiring a Cybersecurity Project Manager to support DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) International Affairs Support Services contract work. This hybrid role in Arlington, VA combines strategic leadership with technical project delivery, with opportunities to guide program and project staff and help ensure key contract outputs are completed on time. The position also supports domestic and international travel when needed.

Salary: USD 110,000 - 170,000 per year. Final base salary within this range will depend on objective factors including relevant experience, specialized technical skills, education, certifications, and geographic work location. Candidates with an active, verifiable security clearance (e.g., Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI) may be eligible for a government clearance differential or specialized premium pay. Final compensation placement is determined by clearance level, polygraph status, and contract-specific customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and subject matter expertise to program and project staff.
- Conduct detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations to support improvements, optimization, development, and maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission-critical challenges/issues.
- Consult with clients to define needs or problems.
- Supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data, then provide advice and recommend solutions.
- Oversee the work of less senior staff and remain responsible for all staff assigned to the contract.
- Maintain availability to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) during core business hours (0830-1730 EST) and respond to requests within four hours.
- Ensure successful delivery of the Project Management Plan, Monthly Status Reports, and Staffing Plans.
Requirements
- 8 years of related experience supporting government agencies.
- Ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff, including detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations; consult with clients to define needs/problems; and supervise studies and surveys to collect and analyze data for advice and solutions.
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
- Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
