Job Description

Bering-Alakaina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Program Manager to support a government customer in Quantico, VA on a 100% onsite basis. This role provides program oversight for cybersecurity efforts, partnering with government stakeholders to ensure mission needs are met while meeting PWS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and management for contract and staff supporting cybersecurity program activities.
  • Advise and assist the government organization on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Lead project tracking and develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Manage a large team of cybersecurity professionals and ensure compliance with all PWS requirements.
  • Research and investigate new or improved cyber products and practices, then present briefings and recommendations to government staff.
  • Work with the COR and KO to support fulfillment of mission requirements.
  • Coordinate with leadership on contract matters, including negotiating and approving modifications, ensuring contract compliance and proper performance, and taking necessary actions related to hiring, firing, and personnel assignment.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or other relevant discipline, or 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Certifications required in accordance with DoD 8140.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with project tracking, including work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reporting.
  • Experience performing program management and oversight of a large team of cybersecurity professionals for a DoD cybersecurity program in both NIPR and SIPR environments.
  • Experience performing offensive and defensive cyber functions that affect cybersecurity posture, across on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of the RMF process.
  • Knowledge of DoD network security requirements.
  • Knowledge of network design, operation, and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with senior management.
