This on site Cybersecurity Professional role in Raleigh, NC coordinates security operations across Carpenter Technology sites in Raleigh, Reading, and Tanner, focusing on identity and access management, cyber threat monitoring, security operations, documentation, training, and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Support identity and access management tasks such as provisioning user accounts, managing password vaults, conducting periodic access reviews, and handling encryption key management.
• Assist with cyber threat monitoring and Security Operations Center activities.
• Execute daily security operations tasks and respond to service requests from business and IT teams.
• Update standard operating procedures and as built documentation.
• Deliver security awareness training, including phishing simulations, and provide guidance on security policies such as password requirements.
• Routinely publish and share security performance metrics.

Requirements

• An associate degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, or certifications (for example, CompTIA Security+).
• 0 to 2 years of related experience in IT, security, audit, or other relevant systems.
