Cybersecurity Operations Analyst I

Join First Hawaiian Bank’s Cybersecurity Operations team to help safeguard digital assets through monitoring, incident support, and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the first stage of cybersecurity incident response, including documenting findings and escalating when required.
• Run day-to-day cybersecurity tool operations, ensuring tools perform effectively and remain updated on schedule.
• Oversee vendor relationships by troubleshooting issues and supporting service delivery expectations.
• Maintain and refresh security policies and provide guidance to business units.
• Support audits by collecting, maintaining, and organizing evidence in line with legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate and remediate security incidents in a timely manner.
• Monitor security logs to identify threats and perform regular vulnerability assessments.
• Develop and implement employee security awareness programs.
• Stay current on cybersecurity trends and best practices relevant to the operations function.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise service-level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

• Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology (or related field) or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in IT or a similar field.
• Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CCNA (highly advantageous).
• Experience: 1 year of IT experience with exposure to security, auditing, or distributed systems.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple security reviews.
• Clear communication skills for collaboration and accurate documentation.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proven task management and prioritization skills.
• Competence in data collection and documentation practices.
• Experience maintaining accurate incident tracking and incident documentation.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (work hours may vary)

Compensation

• Salary range: USD 54,000 to 70,000 per year
• Compensation is commensurate with experience.
