Cybersecurity Manager - AI Trainer
Job Description
DataAnnotation is building AI systems that can better understand real-world cybersecurity challenges, and this contract role focuses on training those models through hands-on evaluation and feedback. As a Cybersecurity Manager - AI Trainer, you will review AI-generated security content, assess its accuracy and validity, and contribute improvements that influence how future AI models reason about threats and defenses.
This position is fully remote with a flexible schedule, supporting work from your own computer. The work is offered on an hourly basis and is available to candidates based in supported countries.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, with an emphasis on real-world accuracy and validity.
- Design and solve security-focused technical problems that are used to train AI systems.
- Write clear technical explanations and security-relevant code.
- Provide feedback that directly shapes the next generation of AI security models.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or adjacent areas, including government or military cyber operations.
- Coding experience required; you should be comfortable navigating and patching a codebase.
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual level) with strong writing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certifications are a plus (for example OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar).
