Job Description
Goldbelt, Inc. supports a mission-focused cybersecurity team in Columbus, OH (onsite) with a strong 24x7x365 environment for monitoring and threat response. Responsibilities
- Perform actions to protect, monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to unauthorized activity across the Enterprise Network Environment.
- Use cybersecurity capabilities and deliberate response actions for specific alerts and emerging threats.
- Review logged events to identify trends that may indicate attack or compromise within the environment.
- Monitor logs and network traffic for Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) and low and slow attacks.
- Maintain awareness of potential threats using intelligence resources, including Open Source Intelligence (OSINT).
- Provide technical analysis and sustainment support for enterprise cybersecurity tools and applications.
- Assist with the application of Defense-In-Depth signatures and perimeter defense controls to reduce network threats.
- Perform other duties as needed or required.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of at least two security tools, such as Firewall, IDS/IPS, Host based antivirus, Data loss prevention, Vulnerability Management, Forensics, Malware Analysis, Device Hardening.
- Ability to build scripts and tools to improve threat detection and incident response capabilities, preferably using SPL, Python, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of Defense-in-Depth.
- Analytical skills to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with diverse teams and individuals.
- Five (5) years relevant experience.
- Two (2) years performing root cause analysis of cybersecurity events and incidents.
- Must possess an IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5) at time of proposal submission.
- Must possess a DOD TOP SECRET Clearance and be eligible for IT-1 and SCI access.

Pay and Benefits
Salary range: $87,000 to $160,000 per year.
