Job Description

Based in Culver City and operating onsite, this production cybersecurity engineering role embeds you inside a client’s enterprise to secure AI systems, ensure they are governed, and maintain resilience. You will lead AI security architecture, threat modeling, and end-to-end security delivery within Accenture's Reinvention Delivery Engine, with a compensation range of USD 87,400 to 305,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Direct AI security architecture and threat modeling for production agentic deployments across complex, multi-stakeholder environments, covering LLM systems, multi-agent pipelines, RAG architectures, and MLOps infrastructure, owning the full security design from assessment to hardened deployment.
  • Provide hands-on security engineering using agentic coding tools as the primary build environment, constructing AI-powered detection systems, automated threat response tooling, security assessment frameworks, and governance automation using Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot in daily delivery work.
  • Manage AI-specific threat surfaces at program scale, including OWASP LLM Top 10 controls, prompt injection hardening, model extraction prevention, adversarial input defenses, and AI supply chain security across concurrent client workstreams.
  • Architect and govern AI security controls across the enterprise stack, addressing identity and access for AI systems, data pipeline security, model serving security, and cross-cloud integration risk across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Lead the implementation of AI governance frameworks, applying EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and model risk management to live production systems rather than theoretical compliance exercises.
  • Shape AI reinvention security strategy for client CISOs and CTOs, building risk-adjusted investment cases, security architecture roadmaps, and AI governance operating models aligned with commercial outcomes.
  • Define and publish reusable security patterns, playbooks, and accelerators that scale across multiple client engagements and expand the Secure AI practice.
  • Lead architecture design sessions, threat modeling workshops, and code-with sessions with client engineering and security leadership teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of engineering experience in production environments with deep expertise in at least one cybersecurity discipline (AppSec, SecOps/detection engineering, cloud security, IAM, offensive security/pen testing, or GRC).
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience designing and deploying agentic AI solutions in production (theoretical familiarity does not qualify).
  • At least 6 years of end-to-end security delivery ownership in a client-embedded or production setting; internal advisory or solely compliance roles do not qualify.
  • Six years of work with cloud platform security fundamentals across at least one provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including IAM, network security, secrets management, and AI service security configurations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years); if an Associate’s degree is held, a minimum of 6 years of work experience is required.
  • Proven ability to communicate security risk in business terms, translating threat exposure into risk-adjusted investment rationale suitable for a CISO or CFO.
  • Experience in people leadership, including managing, developing, and performance-managing a team of engineers, with the ability to set development plans and engage in career conversations.
