This Cyber Security Analyst SME focuses on supporting architecture, engineering planning, and design for the Mission Partner Environment (MPE) Engineering Planning and Development. The role aims to modernize enterprise IT and strengthen mission partner interoperability in the Pacific, onsite at Camp Smith, HI.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to architecture, engineering planning, and design activities for MPE Engineering Planning and Development
- Interpret operational and mission partner requirements into executable technical plans, designs, and integration actions
- Assist with RMF documentation, security control validation, POA&M management, and audit readiness activities
- Work with engineers and system owners to identify, communicate, and reduce cybersecurity risk
- Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges
- Create clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership
Requirements
- Education: Technical training, certification(s), or equivalent experience
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment
- Technical skills: Cybersecurity engineering; RMF support; security architecture; vulnerability and risk analysis; Zero Trust principles; DoW security policy
- Security clearance: Active Secret
- Skills and abilities: Strong communication, analytical problem‑solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams
- Preferred skills: Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments; experience in government site environments coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders; DoW 8570/8140‑aligned cybersecurity certification or comparable professional certification
