Cybersecurity Analyst - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation is hiring an experienced cybersecurity professional to train and evaluate AI models focused on real-world security threats and defenses.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity content for real-world accuracy and validity, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques
• Develop and solve security-focused technical problems that support training of AI systems
• Produce clear technical explanations alongside security-relevant code
• Deliver feedback that directly influences how AI models reason about real-world threats and defenses

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or adjacent work
• Experience may include government or military cyber operations
• Coding experience required; comfort navigating and patching a codebase is important
• Fluency in English (native or bilingual level) with strong writing skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Cybersecurity certifications are a plus, for example: OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar
