Cybersecurity Analyst

In-person Cybersecurity Analyst role supporting a 24/7 security operation at Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort in Arlington, WA.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor networks and systems for security threats, anomalies, and indicators of compromise.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, escalating when necessary.
• Document security issues/incidents and assess impact with management.
• Maintain and tune security tooling including EDR, DLP, VPNs, firewalls, and cloud-native controls such as conditional access and single sign-on.
• Support security compliance across multiple platforms including Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux.
• Align systems and processes with security frameworks, including NIST and CIS.
• Partner with system and application teams to prioritize security updates and patching.
• Operate security systems such as SIEM and vulnerability and compliance assessment tools.
• Coordinate with teams to identify and uncover infrastructure vulnerabilities and evolving threats.
• Use risk intelligence to stay current on emerging cyber threats and updated security trends.
• Prioritize resolution of escalated support tickets and technical emergencies.
• Assist with training team members on IT security awareness and risk management.
• Provide oversight for system hardening and standardization aligned to NIST/CIS.
• Support a 24/7 business operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of equivalent work experience in a security role, or a college degree required.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Hands-on experience with common security tools for monitoring logs and alerts.
• Understanding of the OSI network model and familiarity with network analyzer tools.
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a challenging environment involving sensitive issues while maintaining confidentiality.
• Exceptional guest service skills required.

Certifications, Licenses, Regulations

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.
• One or more security certifications such as Security+ or CySA+ preferred.
• One or more network certifications such as Network+ or CCNA preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Constant ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication.
• Up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; up to 20 pounds frequently; and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Repetitive movement daily with sedentary work, including occasional bending and crouching.
• 24-hour, 7 day-a-week operation.
• No adverse conditions, but employees may be exposed to tobacco smoke.
