Cybersecurity Analyst

Systems Thinking & Solutions offers an onsite Cybersecurity Analyst role in Ashburn, VA with an hourly salary of $30 to $35. This position centers on protecting information systems by spotting vulnerabilities early, strengthening security controls, and responding effectively when incidents occur. You will work closely with IT teams to support ongoing security best practices while keeping pace with emerging threats.

• Perform regular security assessments and audits across the organization’s systems.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures designed to protect sensitive data.
• Handle security incidents and breaches by conducting thorough investigations.
• Partner with IT teams to help ensure security best practices are consistently followed.
• Stay current on cybersecurity trends and threats to support effective defenses.

What you bring

• Proven experience in a cybersecurity role or a related field.
• A strong understanding of network security and protocols.
• Familiarity with security tools and software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
