This senior role delivers administration and sustainment support for Government-approved SOC cybersecurity technologies on-site in Washington, DC.

Deploy, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Government-approved SOC tools, sensors, platforms, enclaves, and supporting technologies.
Assist with sustaining operational availability of cybersecurity infrastructure.
Support integration and interoperability across cybersecurity platforms, data sources, sensors, workflows, applications, and related infrastructure.
Ensure technical configurations align with applicable IRS policies, security requirements, standards, hardening guidance, and Government direction.
Support implementation and documentation of technical changes.
Maintain configuration information and deployment records, including technical diagrams and operational handoff materials and other required technical documentation.
Support notification and resolution efforts for operational anomalies and outages.
Support maintenance of SOC tool details, software-license records, maintenance/support-agreement information, and asset and inventory information.
Support requirements related to software currency and vulnerability patching.
Support knowledge transfer, including maintenance of technical procedures and troubleshooting documentation.

Education: Bachelor’s degree.
Experience: 7 years.
Education substitution: 3 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
Experience implementing and maintaining operating-system and software environments, including patching, system-resource monitoring, and backup and recovery processes.
Experience troubleshooting outages and supporting data recovery.
Experience with process automation and potential leadership of personnel assisting with the work.
